Carrying the torch for the long tradition of women in rock music comes Liverpool-based artist Leonie Jakobi. Influenced by artists like Suzi Quatro and Pat Benatar, the German Native takes inspiration from the nostalgia of classic American rock sounds whilst combining them with modern pop production. Making the personal universal, Jakobi confronts her audience with a merciless honesty in her storytelling that is relatable to many.
