“Watch out for that one – she has bedroom eyes!” – This comment made by a doctor to the mother of the iconic Debbie Harry, the voice and face of legendary NYC band Blondie, when she was just a baby, stuck with me for months. After reading Debbie’s biography “Face It” with a lot of revelations about what it’s like to become an international sensation in the 70s, I wrote Bedroom Eyes to celebrate the strength and resilience it takes to get there.
